It is approaching 10 years since Proconsultancy was formed and in this time we have worked on projects all over the world, from Harvard Business School in Boston (USA), through to documentary film making with young people in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). Our approach has been to work with and skill up young people from the UK to become much more dynamic people ready for the world of work.

Going through adolescence is a very challenging period in our lives and our social documentaries have help 100's of young people explore this issue and deal with it in a supportive environment. Since 2005 90% of our work has been based in formal education settings from schools, 6th forms through to Universities.

But it is our group work skills and Youth work approach (putting young people learning at the centre of the experience) that has kept us busy for the last 10 years, empowering young people to take a lead in the project, making the educational experience fun and memorable.

Youth and Community Work, combined with film making and innovative training approaches are powerful tools which can empower young people to tell their own stories. By utilising the latest technology, up to date film making equipment alongside many years of Youth and Community work experience and dynamic staff teams we have some very powerful tools for development. We work with organisations, small groups and individuals both on a local, national and international level.

An anti-oppressive way of working is integral to our company and this is under-pinned in each piece of work we take on. Our belief is that training and information technology shouldn’t be the preserve of a minority and to this end we offer a wide range of services and packages to empower and inspire.
